Katie Abey X Little Acorn Designz Plum Two-Ways

This piece is from the Katie Abey X Little Acorn Designz collaboration.

‘Nice plums’ two-way drop stud earrings. Both plum pendants are a rich purple colour. One has a cute little smile, and the other is showing its teeth! The leaf is bright green with typical leafy veins. The plums are attached to the stud post by a small length of silver chain.
It’s a two way earring because the chain is just threaded onto the stud post, not joined by a jump ring. You have the option of wearing these as the full plum drop stud or just the leaf.

Handmade by me (from drawings by Katie) using polymer clay on my dining table. Each pair is completely unique and individual.

The stud post itself is totally HYPOALLERGENIC as it’s made from surgical steel. It does not contain lead or nickel. I myself have a metal allergy and have no issues wearing these.

The stud post has been secured to the back with both a generous amount of gorilla super glue gel and UV cured resin. The front of the earring has been coated with a gloss glaze.
